Pneumatic retesting of carbon dioxide trailers can be performed at AMKO’s Midvale, Ohio facility. The benefit to our customers is that pneumatic retesting offers shorter out of service time time and no introduction of moisture into the vessel.
The type of equipment that can be tested using the pneumatic process include: MC 330/331, MC 338, and CGA/TC 341 specification trailers. These trailers are used to transport such liquid products as carbon dioxide, ammonia, liquid natural gas, argon, nitrogen, oxygen, and hydrogen.
AMKO has years of experience performing the pneumatic retesting and as such brings a high level of safety and expertise to each trailer tested. All AMKO locations are registered with the US Department of Transportation and Transport Canada as qualified retest facilities.
A number of ready to recondition trailers are available. Typical trailers are 5000-5900 USWG and 275-325 psi MAWP. Units are available with and without product pumps.
