DOT & TC Testing

US Department of Transportation and Transport Canada Retesting

AMKO can perform a variety of periodic retests that are required by the US DOT (Department of Transportation) or TC (Transport Canada). These periodic tests are required for continued service of DOT and TC specification cargo tanks and cylinders.

New and reconditioned tube trailers are available for sale or lease. A variety of trailer sizes are available to meet a variety of customer needs.

Tube trailers must be retested every five years per DOT regulations. Retesting by hydrostatic or AE (acoustic emission) retest can be performed at AMKO’s DOT registered retest facilities. In addition, tube testing by AE can be performed worldwide, on-site, by AMKO’s mobile AE retest crews
